Privacy Policy

Quilcast, by Borodutch Labs Inc. Last updated October 26, 2026.

Quilcast has no accounts of its own, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. This page lists everything that leaves your device when you use Quilcast on the web or in the Quilcast app.

On your device

Your recovery phrase, wallet keys and signing keys are created and kept on your device, encrypted under a key the device holds. They are never sent to us. Settings, drafts and the accounts you use are stored on your device too.

The Farcaster network

Feeds, profiles and casts are read from a public Farcaster (Hypersnap) node, and what you post, like, recast or follow is signed on your device and sent to it. Everything on Farcaster is public.

Our server (quilcast.com)

Other services

Depending on what you use: farcaster.xyz (direct messages, Spaces, uploads to Farcaster's image CDN), LiveKit (Spaces audio), Farcaster's image CDN, Tenor (GIFs), YouTube (profile songs), public blockchain RPCs and Blockscout (wallet balances), LI.FI (swap quotes), and the mini apps you open. Each has its own privacy policy.

Children

Quilcast isn't meant for children under 13.
